Security Guard Certification
As of January 1, 2025, per advisory, LD-PLU-24-003, all original security guard applicants will be required to complete 12 hours of initial security guard training sponsored by a Maryland Police Training Commission approved provider. The applicant will be required to submit the certificate of completion with their security guard application.
